Privacy Policy

Effective: October 8, 2026

This policy is written for the current DebugArc MVP. Update it before adding accounts, payments, analytics, file uploads, persistent storage, or additional third-party services.

1. Overview

DebugArc is an early-stage embedded-systems diagnostic tool. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the public website and interactive diagnostic demo.

2. Information you provide

When you use the diagnostic demo, you may submit firmware logs, error messages, device context, and other text that you choose to provide. Do not submit passwords, API keys, private credentials, regulated personal data, or information you are not authorized to share.

3. Processing of diagnostic input

When live analysis is enabled, diagnostic input is sent from the DebugArc server-side function to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the requested analysis. DebugArc does not intentionally expose the Anthropic API credential to the browser.

4. Storage

The current MVP is designed to process diagnostic requests without an application database. DebugArc does not intentionally provide a feature to save user diagnostic sessions. Infrastructure providers may process operational logs as part of running and securing the service.

5. Service providers

DebugArc uses Cloudflare for website and serverless infrastructure and may use Anthropic to provide AI analysis. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Cookies and analytics

The current MVP does not intentionally set advertising cookies or run third-party advertising trackers. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated.

7. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used for the MVP, including server-side API credentials and security headers. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

If you do not want diagnostic text processed by the AI service, do not submit it through the live demo. You can still view the public product information without using the demo.

9. Changes

This policy may change as DebugArc evolves. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material revisions are made.
